CONCEPT
The Equalizer‘ is a team project based on audiovisual experimets treating liquids with varied frequencies resulting in different patterns. These patterns form the inspiration of this equalizer, trying to find a simplified and graphic way of visualizing the soundtrack appopriately.
PROCESS
Taking parts of the patterns as guidelines for our visualization, we soon decided to center our graphics for easier transition as both of us created two of the graphics each, individually as clear division of work, instructed by the associate professor.
The motifs are created as vector graphics with Adobe Illustrator and are mostly symmetrical. Their movement is adjusted to the soundtrack we decided on beforhand. The Animation itself was created with Adobe After Effects.
